Six o’clock on Tuesdays,
When the earth falls still.
And tender souls from across the globe cast aside the business of busyness,
To find themselves through one another once again.
I will set my watch and wait!
This is a must-see, appointment-to-be show!
Where every pilgrim who enters, is a star! And the plot, their life’s story.
How will it unfold?
Who will each of us be today?
What truths will fall out of our mouths when we least expect it?
Ripe fruit dropping from the branch above to hit our unsuspecting heads!
And will that nameless extra guest - a breathless whisper that lurks between our words - break through the veil between our worlds, and take its place among us this week?
We are united in listening.
To ourselves. To one another.
But, above all, to that mysterious guest who knits our words together into a meaning we can share,
Weaving a tapestry of understanding, with a colour for every mood, on a loom large enough to hold all the winding threads of life.
This is our weekly covenant.
Come as you are. Your presence is a gift.
Six o’clock on Tuesdays.
I will set my watch and wait!
